#NotUrAssumptions Opening Reception

Mahogany Jones launched #NotUrAssumptions in 2017, celebrating women overcoming gender bias. This year, the focus is on women owners of Detroit businesses. 

Join us on Wednesday, March 28 from 6-9pm at Detroit Fiber Works for an exhibit of images honoring these powerful women, photographed by Nichole Christian, Nancy Rodwan, Jenny Rischer, Abby O, Yvette Rock, Piper Carter, Anahli J Valelquez, Tracy Lombre and Mahogany Jones. Also featured will be visual art by Jordyn Fishman, Sabrina Nelson, Lena Harbali, Jannah Intifada, Judy Bowman, Tisch Mikhail Lewis and Ifoma.
